Anything you make is yours but please don't steal my work.

For this tutorial you will need Paint Shop Pro 8, 9 or X

This tutorial is designed to introduce the Warp Brush
Make a new transparent image 400 X 400.

Select all. Fill with a bright color or gradient.
Selections > Modify > Contract > 5
Press delete.

Contract by 5 again.
Fill with a different bright color or gradient.
Contract by 5 once more. Delete and deselect.

Resize to 75% of original with resize all layers unchecked.
Copy and paste as a new layer.
Repeat 39 times so you have at least 40 identical layers.

Make your top layer active.
Select your Warp Brush tool.

In the mode section, select Rotate right. (see screen shot below)

Set the size, hardness, strength and step to match the screen shot below.

Place your mouse on the upper left corner.
Click and hold for one or two seconds.
The longer you hold, the more it will warp.
If you have warped too much, undo and try again.

Make the next layer down active.
Apply the same warp right next to the first.

Make the third layer active
Repeat the warp right next to the second one.

Continue this process until you have warped all around your image, each warp on a different layer
Keep in mind that you can add new layers if you need them.
If you have added too many layers, you can now delete the layers that were not needed.

Save your image in PSP 7 compatible format.
Open Animation Shop.

Click File > Preferences > General Program Preferences > Layered Files.
Match your settings to the screen shot below, click ok.

Open your image.
Double click on your crop tool to open your crop properties.
click Surround Animated, click OK.
Click on your crop button (located above the crop tool)

That's it. All that's let is to save.
I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial.
