Needed tools

A sparkle tube which you can get from

http://a1emporium.com/index513.html

Open a new image 600 X 400 transparent

Use your text tool and use any color, font, size that you like. A script font is preferable.

Apply the text that you would like on your animation.

Apply any effects that you like, I used Inner Bevel, round preset.

Press CTRL + C to copy. Press CTRL + V to paste as a new image. Now you have deleted the unneeded transparency. Close your 600 X 400 image.

In your layer palette, duplicate the layer and turn off the bottom layer. Make sure that the top layer is active.

Use your lasso tool set to point to point and select the last bit of the text. Delete and deselect. In the image below you will see that I have deleted a small portion of the y.

Duplicate your top payer and turn off the layer under it so that only the top layer is on and all other layers are off. The top layer is active.

Use your lasso tool again and select the next portion of your text. Delete and deselect.

Duplicate the top layer again. turn off the layer under the top and make the top active. Use your lasso tool again and select the next portion of your text. Delete and deselect.

Continue with this process until you have no more text remaining.

I had 49 layers by the time I was done. Your name will more than likely be shorter so you will not have as many layers.

Turn on all of your layers. Save your image. Open Animation shop.

Click File > Open. Open the image that you just saved in PSP.

Press CTRL + A to select all. Click Animation > Reverse frames

Click File > Open. Open your sparkle tube.

Press CTRL + C to copy.

Refer to your signature animation. slide the slider bar all the way to the left so the first frame is visible. Click on the first frame to select it. press CTRL + E to paste the sparkle where the text stops.

Activate frame 2 and paste the sparkle where the text stops. Repeat this for each frame.

Save your animation.

**HINT**

Transparent animations are much bigger than those with backgrounds. Example:

The image below is

In the image below I added a white background. The same size image is now

Here's how to add a background

In PSP, look on the bottom of your window. It will display the size of the image that you currently have open.

In animation shop, click File > New

Type in the size of your image.

choose a light color. I used white.

Refer to your signature animation and slide the slider bar all the way too the right to see how many frames you have.

Refer to your white image. Right click on your image and select duplicate frame. Repeat until both the signature and the white image have the same number of frames.

Refer to your signature. Press CTRL + A to select all

Press CTRL + C to copy.

Refer to your while image. Move the slider bar all the way to the left so that the first frame is visible. Press. Press CTRL + A to select all. Press CTRL + E to paste.

Paste the signature right onto the white animation. Now you can save.
