For this image, you will need to make 2 images, both start at 400 X 400.

Open your first transparent image.

Fill with the pattern, gradient, color of your choice.

Add any bevel, etc effects that you like.

In your layer palette, make 6 duplicates so that you will have a total of 7 layers.

Turn off the bottom and the first 5 so that the only one open is the one shown below.

Apply Xenofex 2 > Shatter.

Press the F5 key to insure that the default factory settings are loaded.

Move the shadow setting to 0.

Press OK.

In your layer palette, turn off the current layer and turn on and activate the layer above it.

Apply Shatter with the same settings but move the Time setting up to 42.

Turn off the current layer and turn on and activate the layer above it.

Apply Shatter again but move the Time setting to 64.

On the next layer, the Time setting is 84.

On the next layer, the Time setting is 100 and the Piece size is moved up to 53.

Last layer WHEW.

On the next layer, the Piece setting is up to 148.

Turn on all layers.

Save your image as shatter.psp.
