All of the images and text in this tutorial are copyrighted. have a peek at the link below to learn more about what "copyright" means. Needed tools Open a new image 500 X 500 transparent. No need to fill. Apply Xenofex2 > Little Fluffy Clouds. Select the Dark Storm preset.
Change both base color and Edge color to a medium blue.
Use your selection tool set to circle.
Back to your ocean image,
Use your selection tool set to rectangle. Select the top portion of your image (the part that isn't flooded) Colorize. Use the settings shown below.
Your image should look like this
Activate your circle that you set aside earlier. Copy. Paste onto your ocean image as a new layer. Use your mover tool to move the moon around so that the lines in the clouds match. This will give the illusion that the moon is behind the clouds.
While still on the cloud layer, Select all. Use the settings below. Make a new layer. Apply the same cutout but change the horizontal and vertical to -6 Deselect.
In your layer palette, turn off the bottom layer so that only the moon and the cutout layers are visible. Merge visible.
Apply Flood using the same settings.
Turn the bottom layer back on.
Select a boat that you would like to use.
Now you can add anything you like, Birds, etc
When you are done adding all your stuff, Merge visible.
Select all, Selections > modify > Contract > 20 Invert Apply Inner bevel using the PILLOW preset. Raise the Ambience to 60. While still selected. Apply Drop shadow using the settings below.
Reapply Drop shadow. Change the Vertical and
