Open a new image 500 x 200 transparent

Make your text tool active. Click on your image and type in
your text.
Make as many instances of your text as you need to fill the width of your image.
HINT many instances of a short text works best

Apply Inner Bevel, settings are your choice. I used the round preset.
For the purposes of explanation, I have added a arrow under the first and second
instances of my text

In your layer palette, duplicate your layer.
Make your mover tool active. Chick in the top layer (on the image, not the layer
palette) Press CTRL + RIGHT arrow key.

In the layer palette, duplicate the top layer.
With the mover tool click on the top layer in the image, press CTRL + RIGHT
arrow

Continue duplicating and moving until your image looks like this (without the arrows)

Click Image Canvas size.
Click the LEFT position arrow, Keep the height at 200
Increase the width to about 800.
The idea here is to see all of the text (including the part that ran off the
image)
If 800 is not wide enough, increase again to a higher number until you can see
all of the text.

Make the top layer active.
Use your magic wand tool, tolerance set to 0
Click on the outside of your text, flood white.
It is NOT important to fill the inside if your text, like the O's and D's.
Only the outside

Do this to ALL layers.

Make the top layer active.
Click Effects > Distortion effects > Wave.
Use the following settings

Repeat the same wave settings for all layers

Now that you have waved the layers. Time to remove the white
Make the top layer active, With your magic wand click on the white area and
press delete. Repeat for all layers.
Save in PSP format.
Open Animation shop
Click File > Preferences > General Program Preferences > Layered Files.
Be sure that "Keep layers as separate frames" is checked and click ok.
Open your image.
Use the scroll bar under the image and slide it all the war to the right so the LAST frame is visible.
Use the crop tool and select only the area that contains text (more concerned with width here then height)

Move the scroller bar all the way to the left so the FIRST frame is visible
again, crop to only the area that contains text.
Double click on the crop tool to open your crop properties
Click Surround Opaque and click OK.
Click CROP in the toolbar.
Save and you're done
