Open a new image 500 X 500 Transparent.

Select all (CTRL + A)

Selections > Modify > contract > 40

Flood with the pattern that you want to use for your frame

Selections > Modify > Contract > 40

Press your delete key.

Select all again.

Activate your selection tool and click on your pattern.

Apply any Inner Bevel setting you prefer.

Deselect

Image > Canvas size set BOTH numbers to 600 and check BOTH center horizontally and vertically

Effects > Plug-In Filters > Dsb Flux > Center Mirror

Apply the setting that you prefer.

Activate your Magic wand tool.

Click on the transparent center of your frame.

Fill with any solid color that you prefer.

Save your image.

Open Animation shop.

File > Preferences > General program Preferences

Click on the Layered Files tab

Make sure that Keep layers as separate frames is checked and click ok.

Open your image.

Click Effects > Insert Image Effect.

Select the Rotate Effect with the settings shown below.

Adding Animation

The Tutorial shows how to add an animation to a still image but the same technique is used to adding a still image to an animation.

Resize your image and save.
