Select the tubes that you will be using and add them to your image. It's always a good idea to make a duplicate of each tube before resizing, etc, to preserve it. As you add your tubes, keep each tube on it's own layer. It will me much easier to add finishing touches to the placement of everything if they are on separate layers.
Add a new layer and name it background. Flood white. Move this layer to the bottom of your layer palette. This layer will be used to add texture to your image. Do not add any tubes to this layer. It may not look like texture now, but it will be a very nice effect when we're done. Apply Eye Candy 4000 > Marble. I used the White Granite setting but you are welcome to select your own setting. Remember....color does NOT matter.
Apply Eye Candy Swirl. I used the Low Twist setting, but, again, you are welcome to select your own setting.
Merge visible layers. In your layer palette, make a duplicate of your layer.
You will be working with the COPY of your layer. Apply Negative Image
Grey Scale your image.
In your layer palette, change the layer type of your layer from normal to Dodge. Your image will appear almost solid white. If it does, you're doing great!
Apply Gaussian Blur. Set the radius to a pretty high number. I used 10, but play with it to get the best effect for your image.
Your image should now look something like this.
Merge and FLATTEN your layers. Apply Simple Quick Tile.
Resize your image to a comfortable size. I used 60%. HINT*** You can increase the color depth to 16 million and colorize your image at this point to change it from black and white to something that you like more.
