Needed tools

A white or grey pattern to use in your text.

A sparkle tube which you can get from

The Font called "Bellbottom". It's a free font. Go to http://www.google.com. in the search window type "font+bellbottom"

you will see tons of links where you can download the font.

**HINT** If you don't care for the bellbottom font, you can use another font that has fat letters

Open a new image 600 X 400 Transparent.

Click on your text tool and use the following settings.

set the fill with the pattern that you have selected for your image.

Click OK and use your mover tool to place the text in the center of your image. Do not deselect

In your layer palette, right click on your layer and duplicate.

activate the bottom layer.

Click Selections > Modify > Expand. Set the number of pixels to 8 and click ok.

Flood fill with white and use your Blade Pro or Super Blade Pro. Select the gold, basic preset and click ok. Do not deselect.

Click Selections > Modify > Contract. Set the number of pixels to 2 and click OK. Apply Gold basic preset again. Repeat the contract 3 more times, each time applying the gold basic preset.

Now you should have a series of ridges around your text as shown below.

Deselect. In your layer palette, activate the top layer. Press CTRL + A to select all. Press CTRL + F to float.

Click Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout with the settings below.

Repeat the cutout but change the Vertical and Horizontal to -3. Click OK and deselect.

Merge visible layers.

Open the sparkle tube that you downloaded and copy. Refer to your text image and press CTRL + E to add the sparkle to your image. Place the sparkle to the gold around your text. Add 4 or 5 more sparkles and apply them to different places on the gold around your text.

Your layers should still be merged, if not, merge visible layers.

Press CTRL + C to copy. Press CTRL + V to paste as a new image. This will eliminate the unneeded transparency.

You are now ready to add your pearl text to an image.
