Custom Paintbrushes on PSP 8 and
9
This tutorial is copyrighted. Feel free to visit
as often as you like but please don't steal my work. Open a new image 255 X 255 transparent. In earlier version of PSP, this size had to be exact. Now it is only a starting point.
Add whatever tubes you would like. I will be making a flowery brush.
I have each flower in a separate layer to make positioning easier.
When you have your tubes where you want them, merge visible layers.
If your image has unneeded transparency around the edges, copy and paste as a new image (CTRL + V).
Click File > Export > Custom Brush
Give your new brush a name.
Close all of the image you have open on your
screen.
In your top toolbar, click here to select the brush that you would like to use.
You will find your new brush listed there. Click
on it to use it.
Set your color palette to the color that you would
like to use.
Hint, Clicking with your left mouse key will use
the foreground color.
To make your paintbrush image into a background,
as I did for this tutorial, I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial. If you have
