Needed tools: Eye Candy 4000
 

Open a new image 200 X 200, Black

Use your draw tool set to freehand. White as your foreground color.

Add a new layer called "lace"

Scribble to your heart's content. Make some up and downs and some side to sides, even some diagonally.

Activate your background layer

Increase your canvas size to 400X400

You will have some transparent area that you can just flood black.

Apply the Kaleidoscope effect

Here are the settings that I used but you may need to play a little with the settings

This shot is resized but this is what it will look like

Later I will refer to this image as the lace image.

Make a new image 400 X 400, Black. You can even make it transparent and add a new layer to use for your background

Make a new layer called "heart"

Use your preset shapes tool set to any shape you like. I like hearts so.................I used a heart.

I set both stoke and fill colors to red.

Apply Eye Candy 4000 Glass

Here are the settings.

Aaaa. That's so pretty.

Press CTRL + A to select all

 Use your selection tool and click on your heart.

Click on Selections > Modify > Expand

set the pixels to 30

Add a new layer called "lace"

Refer to your lace image and press CTRL + C to copy

Refer back to your heart image.

Paste into selection.

Make sure your heart layer is above your lace layer

Deselect and flatten your layers

Add the borders and frames that you like and you're done.
