Open a tube that you feel would work well with a hula hoop.

Press SHIFT + D to duplicate your tube and close the original to preserve it.

If it's a big tube, resize it, The height should not be any more than 250.

If your image is too big you will see breaking up in your animation

Make a new layer and place the background that you would like on it. Rename it "background" and move it BELOW your tube layer.

Activate your tube layer and make a new layer. Rename "hoop 1"

Use your preset shape tool, create as vector UNchecked, circle as the shape.

Stoke set to the color of your choice, Fill set to NULL. Size set to 10.

Apply what ever effects you would like to your hoop.

Your layer palette should look like this.

Make LOTS of copies of your hoop1 layer. It's OK if you make too many.

Rename your hoop layers so that they descend numerically.
