How to save your PSP image in PSP 8 and 9 to prepare for Animation Shop.

Press your F12 key (or click File > Save as)
In the save as window, click on the Options button.

Be sure that you have PSP7 Compatible selected.

The default extension for an image is pspimage

remove the image part so it just says .psp.

Save.

Working with Selections in PSP 8 and 9

Its much easier to keep track of selections when the selections for a specific tutorial are kept in their own folders. Here is how to access them.

Click Selections > Load/save > Load selections From Disk.

In the upper left corner, is a small display of the selection that is currently selected. click on it.

Click on the File Location icon shown below.

Click the Add button.

Locate the folder where your selections are being stored.

Click OK.

You will now see that your selections are available.

When you are done with that specific tutorial, you can return to the file location and delete your entry.

and add a new entry for the next tutorial.
