Halloween Pumpkin

Needed tools:
Eye Candy 4000
The Pumpkin tube. Click HERE


Open your tube. in PSP, Duplicate and close the original to preserve it.
Make a new layer. Move the new layer to the bottom.
Use your paintbrush tool, foreground set to black and fill in the holed in the pumpkin.


Make a new layer. place this new layer in the middle of your layer palette.
Use your selection tool set to rectangle. Make a candle and fill white.
Duplicate the layer 2 times for a total of 3 candle layers

Make the top candle layer active.
Apply Eye Candy 4000 > Fire. Use the Factory default setting
Repeat for the remaining candles remembering to click on RANDOM SEED each time.


Make a new layer.
Use your selection tool set to circle.
Make a small circle just above the flame, fill with yellow,
Duplicate this layer 2 times for a total of 3 yellow circles

Make the top yellow circle active, apply Gaussian Blur, Radius set to 8.
Make the next circle layer active, Apply the same blur but radius set to 9
Make the last circle layer active, Apply same blur, radius set to 10

 

 
 

In your layer palette, arrange your candle and circle layers so there is one blur under each candle.


Duplicate the pumpkin layer 2 times and place one pumpkin above each candle.
Duplicate the bottom layer 2 times and place one black layer under each circle layer.


In your layer palette you have 12 layers now. (3 sets of 4)
Turn all layers OFF except the top 4. Merge visible.
Turn the merged layer off, turn the next set on, merge visible.
Turn both merged layers off and turn on the last set of 4. Merge visible.
Turn all layers ON.
Save your image in psp format.


Open Animation shop. Set the preferences to Keep layers as separate frames, click ok.
Open your image.

Select all, click animation > Frame properties. Set the speed to 20 and you're done.
