Spring Flower Basket

Fill with white Apply Texture > weave with the following settings The color of the Weave is your choice, but be sure to set the opacity to 50.
Rename your layer Handle. Apply Effects > Geometric effects > Circle. Select all > float > defloat > Invert. Apply Drop shadow using the following
settings
Reapply Drop Shadow changing the vertical and horizontal to -4. Your image should look a little like this.
Invert again.
Promote this selection to Layer. With this selection still intact, activate your handle layer and press your delete key. Activate your promoted layer again and rename Basket front. Deselect.
Use your selection tool with the shape set to Ellipse Place your mouse at 250,1
Create an ellipse that includes the top part of your basket (you may have to drag your mouse off the image to get the right shaped ellipse.) Copy, delete, paste as a new layer. Deselect Rename this new layer basket back.
Press CTRL + I to flip your basket back layer right side up. Use your magic wand tool and click on the transparent area of the basket back layer Apply Drop Shadow (same settings and color used previously)
Reapply Drop Shadow changing the vertical and horizontal to -4. Deselect. In your layer palette, move your basket back layer to the bottom. Apply the same Drop Shadow (both 4 and -4) to the basket front layer. Use your mover tool and drag the basket back into position. Your image should look something like this.
With the basket front active, your deformation. Grab the node along the center of the bottom edge and push up until your basket looks the way you want it to.
Apply the deformation, Repeat for the other 2 layers. Your basket should look a little like this.
Resize your image to about 80% of original. Be sure that resize all layers is checked.
Image > Canvas size. Increase the canvas back to 500 X 500 with both horizontal and vertical centered.
You may want to use your mover tool to drag the basket closer to the
bottom depending on the size of the flowers that you intend to add. Ok the worst is over. Now its time to start adding your flowers. Be sure that you place all of your flowers between the basket back and the basket front.
If you add a flower that sticks out past the basket, simply select the area that sticks out and delete it.
If you want to you can add some stuff to the basket front as well. It will give it the effect of flowers hanging over the top of the basket.
You can also add finishing touches such as a bow or a bird.
When you're done adding your flowers, etc. Merge visible. Copy and paste to a new image. This will get rid of the un needed transparency. Save and you're done :-)
