Column

Use your deformation tool, hold the CTRL key down and grab the upper right corner and push it inward slightly

Make a new layer

Use your selection tool and make a rectangle at the top of your column.

Using the same color and gradient, change the angle to 180 degrees and flood

While it is still selected, apply drop shadow with these settings.

On the same layer make another rectangle at the bottom of your column.

Using the same color and gradient, change the angle to 0 and flood.

While it is still selected, apply drop shadow again but change the Vertical setting to -9.

Deselect and turn that layer off in your layers palette.

Make a new layer called "vines"

I resized the vines tube that I downloaded to 60%

Copy the vine tube (CTRL + C)

Go back to your column image and paste as a new layer (CTRL + L)

Use your deformation too to rotate and place it where you want it

Once it is placed correctly, CTRL + L again to place the next vine. Each vine MUST be on it's own layer to use the deformation tool in each one separately.

When you have all of your vines the way you want them it should look something like this.

You will probably have a long list in your Layers Palette

Turn layer 2 back on and merge visible layers
