Save them as 1.psp and 2.psp. In your color palette, make your foreground color white and your background color the pastel color of your choice.
Change the foreground to your #1 gradient Foreground-background. Set the repeat number to1.
Fill one of your images. Click on the foreground to bring up the gradient options window and invert the gradient. Fill the other image.
Click on Effects > Texture effects > Blinds. Apply the blinds effect with the settings below. Choose a color slightly darker then the pastel color in your image. Apply to both images.
