This tutorial is to teach how to add a ready made alphabet to your image. Open the image that you would like to add your alphabets to in paint Shop Pro. Press CTRL + C to copy. Open Animation shop. Press CTRL + V to paste.
In animation shop click ok File > preferences > general program Preferences > Layered Files. Make sure that All layers are in separate frames is checked and click ok. Open the first letter of the word that you would like to add. Make a note of how many frames it has. In the image below, my letter has 14 frames.
Activate your image that you pasted and press Duplicate a bunch of times until your image has the SAME number of frames as your letter.
Activate your letter. Press CTRL + A to select all. When all frames are selected, they will all have a blue border like the image below. Press CTRL + C to copy.
Activate your image that you want to add the letter to. Slide the scroll bar at the bottom all the way to the left so that frame 1 is visible. Select all (CTRL + A). Press CTRL + E to paste.
Repeat the above steps for each letter of your word. If you spell the same word I did, your word will look like this.
But we can get fancy about this
Don't mess with the first letter, just select all, copy and paste as per the instructions above.
with the second letter, click on the first frame so that it is the only frame selected. Press CTRL + X to cut. Click on the LAST frame to select it. Right click on the last frame and click on paste > After current frame. then...select all, copy and paste.
Do the same with the third letter but select and cut the first TWO frames, select the last frame and paste > After current frame. and so on as the images below indicate
Pretty cool huh?
